This will bring to your account page where you can update your account information, add or edit information on your profile, as well as submit articles and videos.

NowLegal.com has over 1,000,000 lawyers in it's database. If you have not registered on NowLegal.com and are a Lawyer, the chances of you being in our database are good. To find and claim your profile, follow the directions below:

1. Go to our Welcome Lawyer page and fill out the form on the right hand of the page. You can search for yourself by email, name and/or location.
2. Once you've found and clicked on your profile, click on the "Is the you?" link next to your name in the top left box.
3. Follow the directions provided on that page. Once completed you will be sent an email with a link in it to verify that you wish to claim your profile.
4. Click on the link that is provided in the email to activate your account.
5. Once your account has been activated, you will be able to login by clicking the "Sign In" link at the top right-hand corner of the screen.

No. NowLegal.com is not, nor does it have any plan to our interest in acting as, a lawyer referral service. Our Lawyer Match service falls under Business & Professions Code § 6155(h)(1), which states:

No, there is no charge associated with listing yourself, claiming or building your profile.

For the foreseeable future there are no fees associated with our Lawyer Match service for lawyers or potential clients. There will never be a charge for potential clients using the service and if at some point in the future we associate a fee with this service to lawyers, costs will be nominal and payment structure options will be given. Also, we will (have to) give substantial advance notice to anyone involved in the service prior to attempting to charge any monies.

It's difficult to say exaclty how we obtain a certain lawyer's names. We use several different sources including public websites, bar associations, partner websites, etc.
