Learn About Law - Q&A

My parents allowed a married couple to live with us 8 months ago and it turns out that one of them is on parole.

The wife went to jail for 2 months for using crack, apparently in my parents household without them knowing until after the fact. She moved back in with her husband upon release (against my parents approval) about 1 month ago and the 2 now drink heavily. My parents are suspicious they are using crack again. They don't know how to tell them they need to leave because they are worried the couple might respond in a negative or violent fashion. Are my parents liable for allowing this to go on in there house if she gets another parole violation or the house were to get raided? I am the son and i have a felony, I know that it is not legal for her to live in the same household with another felon. I am weary of this whole situation, please help my parents, these strangers are very bad people.

They will have to use the Court's eviction process. They should get an attorney if this makes them uncomfortable. www.kliszlaw.com Tim Klisz
