The Clay County Bar Association is a small but active Bar group totaling approximately 100 members. The meetings are held several times a year with special interest in the Law Day celebration around May 1st of each year as well as the annual meeting to install new officers.
Each year it has held a Bar Association Picnic which includes lots of food and an informal event for members and their friends and families to become better acquainted and to socialize.
All of the Clay County Judges are members and they frequently attend our meetings. Some of its members were charter members when the Clay County Bar Association, Inc. was formed in 1973.
