The CNYWBA is a chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, a statewide organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of women in the legal profession. The CNYWBA membership is comprised of female and male attorneys, esteemed members of the bench, legal educators, law students, and other professionals from Onondaga, Oswego, Tompkins, Cortland, Cayuga, and Madison counties. Such diversity provides our members with invaluable professional networking opportunities, as well as friendship and mentoring support.

Throughout the year we sponsor many exciting programs that provide our members with opportunities to get involved with our organization. We offer dynamic programming to suit all of our members’ interests such as the Annual Judicial Reception, Law Student Mentoring program, Summer Picnic, Women in Law & Medicine Dinner, Chamber Chats, Holiday Party, and CLE programs. I strongly encourage you to attend one of our social events, serve on a planning committee, attend a CLE, or volunteer for a pro bono or mentoring program. The success of our organization is due to the willingness of our members to donate their time and talent to promoting our mission.
