"Mr. Tacker is the Corporate General Counsel and Vice President for Human Resources for Charles F. Day & Associates LLC, a Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, HUB Zone Business, providing consulting and logistics support through the United States and abroad. Mr. Tacker provides In-House legal services and Human Resources expertise in support of the Company and its customers. Mr. Tacker’s experience includes an assignment as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist for the United States Army’s Sustainment Command providing logistics expertise to the Far East Theater of Operations. Mr. Tacker’s experience in Logistics Management included positions with the Army as the Acting Deputy Director for Operations and as Division Chief for Soldier Training, Plans & Exercises, and Contingency Contracting Missions, and as a Supervisor in the Army Sustainment Command’s Logistics Operations Center. In these positions Mr. Tacker gained a key insight into the concept and operation of the Army’s Distribution Management Center concept. Mr. Tacker’s Human Resources and Legal Careers began in 1985 with his assignment to the Army’s Rock Island Arsenal Civilian Personnel Office, holding a variety of positions with a wide range of responsibility to include: Corporate Human Resources, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Team Leader for the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center, Labor Relations Specialist, and Employee Relations Specialist. Mr. Tacker is licensed to Practice Law in Michigan, Iowa, and before the United States District Court. Most recently, Mr. Tacker has been appointed by the Iowa Supreme Court to their Family Law Pro Se Forms Committee. Mr. Tacker is a Judge for the Iowa State Moot Court Competitions. Mr. Tacker is also a Professional speaker at Black Hawk Community College, Moline Illinois, Professor of Law, Accounting and Human Resources at Eastern Iowa Community College, Muscatine Iowa, and Professor of Business Law, Human Resources, and Diversity at St. Ambrose University, Davenport Iowa. Mr. Tacker’s other major accomplishments include induction into Who’s Who in American Law three years running, along with American Business; and American Education. He achieved the US Army Commander’s Award for Civilian Service twice; is the Vice Chairman of the American Bar Association’s Tort, Trial, & Insurance Practice, Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, New Lawyers and Law Students Divisions; is a member of Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity, National Trial Lawyers Association; Michigan State Bar; Iowa State Bar; National Federalist Society; American Bar Association; MENSA; National Employment Lawyers Association; Society for Human Resource Management; American Society for Quality; and the ABA Advisory Council Mr.Tacker received his two Bachelor’s Degrees in Business and Computer Science, an MBA, a Bachelor’s in Law and a Jurist Doctorate, and a Masters in Law, Intercultural Human Rights.
